J.J. Peace led the way as the Maumee boys golf team topped Springfield and Scott in a tri-match Monday at Heather Downs Country Club.
The Panthers posted a 172 team score, with Peace firing a team-low 40. Antonio Valadez and Mateo Valadez each shot 43, while Owen Sloan added a 46.

Maumee stayed perfect in Northern Buckeye Conference action, beating host Oak Harbor 5-0 on Tuesday.
Hilari Miko beat Emma Bradbury 6-0, 6-1 at first singles. Laci Winckowski topped Brooklyn Garcia 6-2, 6-1 at second singles, and Lily Hucke rolled past Dakota Gluth 6-0, 6-1 at third singles.
In doubles, Tylee Alvarez and Mckayla Hayes defeated Isabell Hand and Natalie Wagner 6-0, 6-2 at first. Lily Jones and Sophia Pan earned the win at second doubles, 6-3, 6-0, over Sam Benner and Ava Sautter.
The Panthers improved to 3-0 in the NBC and 6-2 overall.
