The season came to an end for the Maumee boys and girls golf teams in the Division I sectional tournament.

The Panthers boys finished eighth in the team standings with a 355 total. J.J. Peace led the way with an 87, six shots away from the final individual qualifying spot. He was followed by Antonio Valadez (88) and Mateo Valadez (89). Owen Sloan added a 91 and Josh Pero had a 100.

St. John’s won the team title, followed by district qualifiers Anthony Wayne, St. Francis, Northview and Perrysburg.

On the girls side, Maumee finished 14th with a team total of 498. Kallie Yeager turned in a 100, seven shots out of the final qualifying spot. Jadyn Netry had a 110, Hannah Ruiz added a 135, and Lillie Nye (153) and Haley Jaquay (161) rounded out the scoring.

St. Ursula won the team title, with Anthony Wayne, Northview, Southview and Clay also qualifying for the district tournament.
