Noah Preciado wasted no time hitting a season milestone, reaching double figures in scoring in just the fifth game as the Maumee boys soccer team rolled to a 10-0 win over Swanton in nonconference action last Saturday.

Preciado netted four goals in the victory, bringing his season total to 10.

He wasn’t the only Panther finding the back of the net. Charlie Skeels, Nate Durham and Anthony Bellafronte each tallied two goals, with Skeels also recording two assists. Through five games, Skeels has totaled five goals and four assists. Bellafronte added an assist to his line.

Jaxson Greenlese and Everett Bertsch both contributed a goal and an assist, while Braden Bond finished with two assists. Cooper Roberts and Cason Brown each added an assist.

The offensive outburst came after Maumee was shut out 3-0 at Northview earlier in the week.

The Panthers closed the week at 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the Northern Buckeye Conference.
